The National Public Employer Labor Relations Association presents the Award of Excellence to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to management in the field of public sector labor relations. The Award of Excellence represents National PELRA’s highest acknowledgement of the recipient’s dedication and achievement in the development of positive labor-management relations. It signifies professional efforts, which have demonstrated creative and innovative leadership over an extended period of time.
National PELRA's Pacesetter Award is given to individuals, groups or organizations who have made contributions or whose accomplishments or innovations in the last two years have been significant to the labor and/or employee relations field.
The National PELRA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit subsidiary of the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (National PELRA). The Foundation provides educational opportunities and scholarships to practioners and graduate level students studying labor and employee relations or a closely related field. The Foundation seeks to provide financial assistance to worthy indivduals interested in a career in public sector labor and employee relations.
