Unconscious bias has a critical and often times problematic effect on our judgment, and can lead us to making hiring decisions that have an adverse impact on a person or a group of people. This session will focus on uncovering and identifying barriers to inclusive interviewing and hiring, exploring how unconscious bias may impact the consideration and evaluation of candidates, and provide tips and strategies to reduce bias in the hiring and selection process.
